FLIGHTS OF UNMANNED ARIAL VEHICLES AT DAYTIME
MOUNTAIN HAWK (FOR CR UAV)

ELEMENTS 1, 2, AND 3 AREA PERFORMED IN COURSE OF ONE FLIGHT
ELEMENT 1
PREPARATION OF THE UAV COMPLEX FOR OPERATION

CONDITIONS
The UAV complex the in the marching position is located on the ground in 50 meters from the site of deployment and launch. Crew of the UAV is in 5 meters from the UAV.

IMPLEMENTATION
On the command, the UAV crews transfers the complex to the deployment and launch site and prepares the UAV for take-off. Upon readiness, it independently launches the UAV. Time is counted from the moment the command is given by the judge before the take-off of the UAV.
ELEMENT 2
EN-ROUTE FLIGHT WITH VIDEO CAMERA

CONDITIONS
Complex of the UAV is deployed. The UAV is in the air. The flight route is laid at the distance of 25 km from the crew.

IMPLEMENTATION
Upon the command, the UAV crew receives a map with the plotted route and makes a flight using a UAV video camera on landmarks, upon reaching the control point, the operator fixes the video image and continues the flight, then returns to the landing point and lands the UAV. Time is counted from the delivery of the map to the landing of the UAV.
ELEMENT 3
LANDING OF THE UAV. PREPARATION OF THE COMPLEX FOR TRANSPORTATION.

CONDITIONS
Ground control station (GCS) is deployed at the distance of 100 meters from the landing site. The UAV is at the distance of 1 km from the landing site.

IMPLEMENTATION
Upon command, the UAV crew performs the UAV landing procedures and lands the aircraft at the specified landing point with a radius of 30 meters. After the UAV landing, the crew compiles the complex with the UAV, stacks the units and parts in a shipping container and carries the UAV system to the distance of 50 meters. Time is counted from the moment the command is given by the judge until the transportation of the complex is completed.
ELEMENT 4
ESCORTING THE MARCHING COLUMN

CONDITIONS
Complex with UAV is deployed and prepared for work. Area of flight is at the distance of 25 km from the GCS. The length of the route of the column is 10 km, the average speed of the column is 30 km / h.

ASSIGNMENT OF A UNIT
Sabotage group on a car

IMPLEMENTATION
Complex with UAV deployed and prepared for work. Upon command, the crew launches the UAV into the air. Crew of the UAV explores the terrain ahead of the moving column at a distance of up to 2 km and reports the situation. The time of the element is counted from the moment the column begins to move until the end of the march. Time is counted from the moment the command is given by the judge until the transportation of the complex is completed.
WARFARE SUPPORT
(FOR SR UAV)

CONDITIONS
The complex with UAV is prepared for flight operations; the crew is in regular position. Distance of the flight area from the launch point is up to 100 km.

IMPLEMENTATION
Upon command, the crew launches the UAV into the air. In the specified area, the operator performs the reconnaissance of the objects, when they are detected, the coordinates and characteristics of the object are reported. The operator observes and reports to the judge the actions performed by the monitoring object, reports on the detection of the enemy. At the end of escorting the group, the operator takes the UAV to the reconnaissance area and searches for the object (target). In the future, fixes and corrects the artillery (mortar) fire on the target. After that, the UAV is taken to the landing area and ready to land the UAV on readiness. Change of operators is carried out with the permission of the judge, but not earlier than in 2 hours.
STAGE 2
FLIGHTS OF UNMANNED ARIAL VEHICLES AT NIGHTTIME
DESERT OWL
(FOR CR UAV)

ELEMENT 1
DETECT AND REPORT

CONDITIONS
The complex with the UAV is in a marching position 50 meters far from the launch point. The area of conducting aerial reconnaissance is at the distance of not more than 25 km from the launching point. Unit of designation: up to five military facilities.

IMPLEMENTATION
Upon command, the UAV crew receives the coordinates of the reconnaissance area, transfers the UAV to the launch point, deploys the GCS and prepares the UAV for the flight. Upon readiness, takes off the UAV and performs a search for objects. When a target is detected, the operator fixes it on the screen, reports to the judge on the detection of the coordinates and characteristics of the object. The time starts with the delivery of the scheme with the coordinates of the area, before the UAV lands.
ELEMENT 2
DETECT AND ELIMINATE

CONDITIONS
UAV is in the search area. Mortar crew is in indirect fire position. Target – objects for conditional engagement.

IMPLEMENTATION
Upon command, the calculation displays the UAV to the specified object. When a target is detected, the coordinates of the target and the coordinates of the gaps are reported to the mortar crew. It is possible to replace mortar firing with explosive simulators.
RECONNAISSANCE AND AVIATION AIMING
(FOR SR UAV)

CONDITIONS
Complex with the UAV is prepared for the flight mission. The crew is on standard positions. Distance between flight area and the start area is up to 100 km.

IMPLEMENTATION

Upon command, the crew launches the UAV into the air. The operator takes the UAV to the reconnaissance area and starts the reconnaissance of the area. Upon detection of all targets, the operator reports their coordinates, removal and azimuth from visible landmarks and controls the defeat of targets by aviation. At the end of the guidance and control of the defeat, the operator takes the UAV to the landing area and, on readiness, lands the UAV.
STAGE 3
RELAY RACE STAGE
RELAY RACE
(FOR CR UAV)

ONLY TOP 3 TEAMS ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE THIRD STAGE
CONDITIONS
Three areas of reconnaissance are at the distance of 20 to 40 km from the launch point.
Each region has one reconnaissance object. The UAV is in a marhicng position, located at the distance of 50 meters from the deployment and launch point.

IMPLEMENTATION
Upon command, the crews transfer the complex from the UAV to the launch point, deploy the complex, prepare the UAV for flight and, when ready, launch the UAV. After that the UAV is taken to the specified area and the object is searched. When an object is detected, its coordinates are determined, return to the landing point and put the UAV. Then the crew launches the second aircraft and takes it to the next area of reconnaissance and continues to search for the objects. Upon finding the object in the second area and fixing it, the crew returns and puts the UAV at the landing point, launches the third aircraft and scouts in the third area, after finding and fixing the object returns the UAV. Take-off of the next UAV is carried out after touching the ground by the previous one.
RELAY RACE
(FOR SR UAVS)

CONDITIONS
The complex with the UAV is ready for operation; the UAV is in the air at a assigned point.
Two reconnaissance areas with an arbitrary number of objects are in each area, but not less than three.

IMPLEMENTATION
Upon the command, coordinates of the reconnaissance area are given to the operators. The operator moves the UAV to the reconnaissance area and performs a search for objects, upon detection of the reconnaissance object, the operator fixes the object and continues searching for the objects. After completing the search for objects, the operator takes the plane to the starting point. The operators are changed, and the next operator performs reconnaissance of the area.
SUMMARY
The winner and prize-winners of the Competition are determined by the referees' commission according to the time spent for performance of the elements. When assessing the Competition and the stages, the places are assigned by summing the positions after all elements. In the case of equal amount of points for the results of the elements, the teams are distributed according to the minimum amount of time spent for performing of all the elements.
AWARDING
Awarding of the winners and prize-winners of the Contest is carried out in the following nominations:
The best crew of a short-range UAV is determined by the smallest amount of seats occupied by the crew of UAV (close-range) complexes.
The best crew of a short-range UAV is determined by the smallest amount of seats occupied in the exercises by the crews of UAV (short-range) complexes.
